Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DrChQ — the mobile app and the website at drchq.in (together, the "Service") operated by DrChQ ("we", "our" or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use DrChQ

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law to create an account. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account and your phone secure — you are responsible for activity under your DrChQ account. Tell us immediately at support@drchq.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Family members you add

You can keep profiles and reports for family members under your account. When you add someone, you confirm that:

• for an adult, you have their consent to store and manage their health information in DrChQ;
• for a child under 18, you are their parent or lawful guardian;
• the information you add about them is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Family members do not have their own DrChQ sign-in; their data belongs to your account and is deleted if you delete the member or your account. If an adult family member asks you to remove their data, please delete their profile.

4. Your data and documents

You own the health information and documents you add. You give us a limited permission to store, process, display and back them up only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Only upload documents you are entitled to keep — your own records and those of family members you manage. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

5. Not medical advice — and not for emergencies

DrChQ helps you organise and access health records. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing in the Service should be read that way. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Do not rely on DrChQ in an emergency — call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service only to manage your own and your family's health records. You must not:

• upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that you have no right to hold;
• try to access another person's account or data, or probe, disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the Service;
• use the Service to store records for others as a business (for example, as a clinic) without our written agreement;
• share your account access with others.

7. This is an early release

DrChQ is in its first public version. Features may change, be added or be removed as we improve it, and we welcome your feedback. We aim to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free; we may pause it for maintenance or updates. Keep your own copies of documents that are important to you — you can download any report from the app.

8. Our intellectual property

The DrChQ name, logo, design and software (excluding your data) belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute them without our written permission.

9. Deleting your account, and suspension

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete account) or by request at drchq.in/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent and includes all family members' profiles and reports, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms or the law. Unless the law or an urgent security risk prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your reports.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DrChQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of information stored in the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; the Service is currently free. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability or right that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Disclaimer

Except as stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue. Otherwise, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date at the bottom of this page and tell you about important changes in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
