Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DrChQ — the mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by DrChQ ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. You may create health profiles for family members, including minors, under your account — you are responsible for all data entered on their behalf.
2. Your Account
You sign in via Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Notify us immediately at hello.drchq@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — managing personal and family health records. You must not:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to store data on behalf of others commercially without our written consent.
- Share your account credentials with others.
4. Your Data and Content
You own all health data and documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and retrieve your data solely to operate the Service on your behalf. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. DrChQ is a personal records management tool — it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
5. Not Medical Advice
DrChQ helps you organise and access your health records. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information stored in the app.
6. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons, with or without notice during the alpha period.
7. Alpha Release
DrChQ is currently in alpha. The Service is provided as-is during this period. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We appreciate your feedback and patience as we improve the product.
8. Intellectual Property
All DrChQ branding, design, code, and content (excluding your personal data) are the intellectual property of DrChQ. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DrChQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
